On April 8 the American Bookseller Association announced this year’s winners of the Indies Choice Book Awards. The winners all come from the 2009 Indie Next List, and were picked by owners of American Bookseller Association stores and their staff. These are the winners, as announced by ABA: Adult Fiction: Cutting for Stone, by Abraham Verghese (Knopf) The new 6.7 million dollar public library in Manhattan’s Battery Park bridges the ancient and advanced.
